Arbonne Ginger Citrus Questions
Dry skin solution: exfoliant? body oil? Want something that doesn’t take ages to soak in.?
My skin is forever dry and flaky. I’ve been using the Arbonne ginger & citrus sugar scrub. It’s pretty much sugar sitting in oil, and it’s got me to thinking. Is there a good body oil out there that I could use for additional moisture after my shower, in place of lotion?
I’ve used vasaline for years, but I hate that you can’t go to bed for hours, or else it makes the sheets greasy. Nothing else seems potent enough to either lock in the moisture from my shower, or create the necessary moisture in my skin.
So, can anyone recommend a good body oil or cream that soaks in well, but can keep me moisturized for 24 hours (until next shower)? I’d also love to know about any other favorite products that YOU YOURSELF have tried, and found to work for super dry skin. I don’t have to worry about breakouts/acne due to something being too oily, so that’s not an issue.
any of the kiehl’s lotions are AMAZING; i use their regular lotion and it’s fantastic, but my dad has ridiculously dry skin and uses their creme de corps, and it’s basically the only thing that keeps his hands from getting so chapped they bleed. i’m also a fan of burt’s bees hand salve (you can use it on other places too), and it’s wonderful; the only thing that’s kinda annoying about it is that it smells like rosemary, but it works ridiculously well and it’s also cheaper than the kiehl’s stuff. i also know that a lot of people swear by cocoa butter, but i’ve never tried it. good luck!!
