Terrorism has become the order of the day now in India. The recent terrorists’ attacks in Delhi, on the 13th of September, 2008, in the capital city of India, killing as many as 30 hapless victims and injuring more than 100 persons, once again triggered a hot discussion throughout India about the terrorists continued presence and attacks in the recent past.
The analysis of the series of terrorists attacks proved that they had international links by virtue of the technical know-how they had used for bombings and they were aimed at the common people since the bombs had been placed in the busy area where people converged in large numbers. Some five persons have been arrested for interrogation and attempts are being made to exactly identify the other persons with the clues provided by some eye witnesses. The series of bomb attacks followed the recent terrorists’ attacks that happened in Jaipur, Ahamadabad, Mumbai and Banglaore in the recent past.Another shocking revelation was that Indian Intelligence failed miserably to assess such a situation.
‘The Indian Mujahiddeen’ has claimed responsibility for these attacks and also alleged that they were to avenge the ‘Babrimasjid episode’.
While the Indian Government is making a hot pursuit of these terrorists, the latter have also threatened to attack Chennai, which has hitherto remained peaceful and unfamiliar to terrorists attacks, barring the famous Rajeev Gandhi episode in Sriperumpudur nearby Chennai, several years ago.Apart from that there is a speculation that the terrorists may also attack specific targets in Madya Pradesh, a BJP ruled state.
The threat made by the terrorists and their series of attacks confirm that India has become a safe heaven for terrorists.The present laws aimed at nabbing the terrorists are not sufficient to book and root out them.The UPA government has repealed the ‘POTA’ Act which was a special act aiming to curb and root out the activities of terrorists.It seems in the absence of such acts the activities and the attacks by the terrorists is on the increase. The clamor of the Opposition parties including the BJP for the restoration of POTA Act is not without substance. It was an irony that the UPA Government under the pressure of its alliance partners rather hastily repealed the act without any strong reason or justification in its favour. Now the alliance partners call for speedy action against the terrorists.
Another thing that we have to take up seriously for consideration, what prompted the repeated terrorists attacks targeting various cities.The attack by terrorists on Delhi confirmed that it was prompted by the demolition of the Babrimasjid. Though we may not justify the terrorists attacks on various cities in India, we cannot deny the fact that the demolition of the Babrimasjid, carried out by the religious fundamentalists of Hinduism and the involvement of political leaders belonging to BJP, is an affront and a shame to the proclaimed secular fabric of India.Though the incident happened decades ago and even an enquiry commission has been set up by the Indian Government to enquire into the episode, so far so many extensions have been given to the commission and the commission is yet to publish its report.
Therefore, under the circumstances mentioned above, it is the duty of India to prove its credentials to the world that it is truly and sincerely a secular country and expose and book the persons who are against the secular fabric.India’s high powered intelligence needs a rebuke and revamping to prevent the recurrence of any such attacks in the future. In order to check and root out the terrorists activities from India, it is also necessary that India should take more stringent measures against the terrorists either by restoring the POTA Act or by taking even more effective steps so as to root out and curb the terrorists activities.Otherwise, India as one of the growing world powers will stand hopelessly exposed.

The main ingredients are baking soda, citric acid, essential oils, and other additives depending on the company. I prefer bath bombs from Best Bath Store as they don’t use synthetic additives.
