Soak Away Stress With A Hot Water Bath
It is a wonderful feeling to walk in your own front door at the end of a long hard day at work wherever it might have been. We lead such hectic lives anymore that it is usually such a relief to be able to come home and rest and relax for a few hours before we go to bed to sleep, then get up the next morning and start all over again.
It can be difficult to get all the things done at home in the evenings after you have already worked all day. For many couples with children or single parents as well, the work is not over just because you completed eight hours or more at your paying job. There will be plenty to do afterwards like fixing up some sort of passable dinner, helping with homework, or who knows what else.
By the time we get all of this done and possibly add a few more house cleaning chores on top of that, we can be totally exhausted. Before bedtime, we can find ourselves all wound up after putting in such long and laborious hours. What will make most of us feel better is to know that we can have a nice long soak in a steamy deep bath. It is just what the doctor ordered.
Soaking in a hot tub of water before bedtime can be just the ticket to soothe away all the stress and tensions of the day. Throw in some foaming bath powder or bubbles, get a good book, and just rest for a little while. There are so many different kinds of soaps and body washes available today and all the different scents can simply be heaven to lie back and smell while you soak. There are all kinds of body scrubbers that will invigorate your skin and ease muscle strain away.
If you are a shower person, you just might not know what you are missing. The very next time that you have a really hard day, try going home and having a good hot soak in the bathtub. Lock the door and turn off the phone if possible so you will not be disturbed. You might even light a few candles for ambiance. Get out that book you have been trying to get started on and give tub soaking a try. You just might discover that the bath tub can be your new best friend.

Is there black dust bath powder for chinchilla’s?
I have a black chinchilla and the dust that i use is white. He always ends up looking gray after a dust bath because the only powder i can find is white or gray. Does anyone know of any black chinchilla powder?
I also have a black chinnie. So I know exactly what you’re talking about. If it bothers you that much just make sure you give it to him at the beginning of his playtime(15-30 mins a day) and he’ll run all the extra dust of in no time. 
It’s not just the color of you chinchilla though. You can even tell when my mosaic chilla(who’s mostly white) first gets his dusties, hes little pink nose is covered in dust and you cans till tell that there’s dust on his fur.

If they do make colored dust, you should stay away from it.
Scented dust or dust that has been altered in any way is not healthy for a chinchillas skin, eyes, and lungs. Also stay away from bath sands. Make sure it says “dust” and not “sand”. The sand is to coarse to do its job at controlling the oil in a chinchillas fur and it can irritate their eyes and skin.
I use the Kaytee dust bath. You can find it at almost any pet store.

every night my husbands feet stank up our room every night i buy foot powder and spray it don’t work new socks still don’t help even new shoes the stank too hes very clean he takes multiple baths he likes soak in in the tub but his feet stanks bad real bad like i get mad or laugh but i don’t want to hurt his feelings by laughing or getting mad what do i do?
1Prevent the stink. Always use socks. Socks soak up sweat and can be changed several times a day to keep the feet fresh.
Step2Sandals can be worn in warm weather to combat stinky feet. Sandals allow air to the feet so that they stay dry.
Step3Feet become stinky because they sweat. Sweat smells because it contains bacteria that your body is trying to flush out. The best way I have found to cure stinky feet is to soak them every few days in a tub that is one part bleach to five parts water. The bleach kills the bacteria and doesn’t harm the skin.
Step4Make sure to spray shoes with a good disinfectant spray to kill the smelly bacteria that is left in the shoes.
