South Beach Diet Not Working? The Cheating Method is More Freedom and More Effective
You need to consider some things if you found the South Beach Diet not working for you. First of all let me say that the South Beach Diet is a good program yet if you are not seeing results you are likely to grow frustrated and quit. If you are not getting results you must take a look at your metabolism as a possible cause. One thing South Beach has in common with many other diets is the fact that you are eating less. When you take in less food your body detects this and actually finds this distressing.
You see your body cannot tell that you are following a diet it just notices that you are taking in less food and it reacts by slowing your metabolism in order to preserve your stored energy reserves…what you refer to as fat.
That’s right, when you restrict your food intake your metabolism falls and your body stops burning fat.
This sets up a problem for the South Beach dieter because as you continue to cut your food intake your metabolism and ability to lose fat diminishes.
The answer is the cheating method. What I mean by that is you need to boost your metabolism on a weekly basis by overeating or “cheating”.
Here is how it works…
Follow a lower calorie diet for 6 days and then on day 7 overeat by eating pancakes, pizza, fried chicken, cookies, any thing you want. This boosts your fat burning metabolism.
Now, I realize this goes against everything you learned in the South Beach Diet but lets face it South Beach came on the scene with a big media splash but it has been waning because it causes you to give up your favorite foods.
Over the past ten years research into cheating methods has grown and one of the top researchers, Joel Marion, used the cheating method I just described to win a national Body-For-Life Transformation Contest. He now shares his research and diet plan with others and has thousands of before and after real world case studies of people who ate their favorite foods and lost fat fast.

Canon 7D need help choosing a lens!!!?
Okay so i took the plunge and splashed out on the 7D, but i need some help on deciding in a len/lenses any idea?? i do a lot of wedding photography, and i was using a super-zoom camera for the past 2 years so im used to a lens that can zoom a lot so i was thinking of the 18-135mm lens (yes i know this lens can come as part of the kit however there was a body only offer which worked out cheaper than buying the kit) im also tempted by the 50mm prime lens with 1.4f, but i want your idea? i kinda spent all my money on the camera, and i know people say why buy an expensive camera to put a shitty lens on it….well i have no choice right now, maybe u can reccomend a shitty lens which aint half bad, any advice will be welcome, also any advise on other ‘things’ i may need since this is my first dslr and im knew to all this.
I use and recommend the Canon 28-200. It’s quick, sharp and accurate. Granted it doesn’t have the low f/stop of the 17-55 but it does an excellent job of focus. I do all the exposure stuff myself so the
focus of this lens really impresses me.
