Calmoseptine Ointment Questions
hi, can you give me an antibiotic or drug (even its generic name) for bed sores or pressure ulcers…?
coz my grandma has bed sores, I tried to apply calmoseptine ointment, but it didn’t work.. hope you can help me with these folks!! thanks in advance!!!
What ever ointment you use will have a better chance of working if you take the pressure off. Someone should be helping your Grandma to turn over or change positions every 2 hours, and a small pillow placed between her knees will make her more comfortable when she’s laying on her side. You should be covering it loosely with gauze and using paper tape, so it gets some air.
Need to switch diapers for baby’s sensitive skin, what kind?
She is 4 weeks, very sensitive skin, and has a blistering bleeding diaper rash that won’t heal. We have tried every kind of rash cream out there and nothing works! So the pedi said to stop using the wipes and try switching diaper brands (she is currently in Pampers Swaddlers) Creams we have tried- A&D ointment, Lansinoh lanolin, Lansinoh diaper cream, California Baby Diaper rash cream, California Baby Calendula Cream, Canus Goat’s Milk OIntment, Boudreaux’s Butt Paste, ENDIT, Calmoseptine- which is like the end of the line. He said it didn’t look like it was a fungal rash. So we’ll try switching diapers- what brand is good for your little one’s skin?? I am not interested in cloth diapers as I have 3 kids 2 and under- no time for extra laundry!! Curious about earth’s best or 7th generation. Please help quick! We are going out after 5 to find her some, and I’d rather not have to buy them all….
I don’t know what to say about the diapers. My little one had sensitive skin and the pampers swaddlers worked fine for her. One thing you could try on her rash though is baby oil and corn starch. Gently cover the rash with the baby oil and then powder with the corn starch. It was the only thing that worked for my baby’s rash. I hope you find something that works for you and your little princess. Poor baby!
