What is a Backache
Backache is a pain in the back caused by degenerative changes,swelling, injury or in some cases, cancer.Usually the pain on the lower part of the back worsens when a person bends forward or backward.The muscles of the back may become weak and tender. Backache due to age-related changes may radiate to the legs due to pressure on the spinal nerves.
Backache and back pain is now a common symptom among modern societies.It affects mainly the middle aged and young adults of both sexes.People working in the offices,those without exercise and those who carry heavy loads regularly are prone to back pains.We can hardly find a person who has not suffered from back pain at least once in their lifetime.The causes of lower back pain ranges from muscular strain to cancer of the spine and hence a backache should not be ignored.The pain is felt in the lumbar and sacral regions and may radiate to nearby sites.The following are several causes of backache.

Each Backache Questions
Could I be pregnant? all the symptoms are there?
My last period was due between the 21/10/08 and 23/10 am on the pill so am clockwork each month – not arrived yet?! Being sick pretty much every day, have backache and moodiness(much to my partners dismay),dizziness, forgetfulness and some of the other not so nice symptoms, done 3 tests all negative, no sign of my monthly.What do you think?? My doc doesnt want to see me unless i miss next month?!

It is possible that you are pregnant, however there are other possible explanations. It is possible that your hormone levels have changed due to age or other reasons which may mean that the pill can no longer ‘control’ things as much as before. This could lead to strange cycles and also to pregnancy.
If I were you I wouldn’t take any more contraceptive pills, as this could add further complications and the hormones in the pill might affect the pregnancy test (I don’t know?!?). Then, wait a week or so and do another test. If you are pregnant it should then show up, if not it wont.
Regardless, I would insist on a doctor’s appointment to figure out what’s going on. Either you’re pregnant, or you might need a stronger pill.

i have suffered for years with backache, but you live with it…then theres TENS MACHINE?
i wanted to try a small tens machine, praying it will ease my agony.
pain starts at my tail bone, up and to each side of my spine and my shoulders and neck ache too. i take strong prescribed painkillers daily but it doesnt ease. i saw tens but didnt know what one to buy.
can anyone suggest plzz
Don’t waste your money. I’ve tried one several times over several years and they offer minimal relief if you have anything more than a soft tissue issue,, and if you have suffered for years it wouldn’t be soft tissue so save your money trust me. They are like chiropractors,, if it’s a real injury they aren’t worth a damn.
And if you have been taking pain meds like I do, Oxycodone, hydrocodone,, the tens unit won’t even come close to the relief the pain meds do. Sorry
