How to wear perfume the right way

The etiquette of wearing perfume is just as important as choosing a good perfume. There is no point of spending a lot of money for your perfume if you do not know the art of wearing it to get the maximum use of it. Perfumes should be worn in a way that reflects the essence and substance of the perfume well, so people are drawn to you. Make sure to mix your personality into the fragrance you wear, so that people will feel your presence rather than only the perfume. When it comes to wearing a perfume the proper way, there are many facts to consider.

If you apply perfume when your skin is softer and cleaner, like after a shower, the perfume absorbs to the skin, adding pleasantness to the fragrance.
Do not over do it. Splashing or spraying perfume all over you and on your clothes is never the right thing to do. You do not want people smelling an entire content of a perfume bottle on you. To make it subtle and to let people know you smell like floral or fruity essence, use little amounts. Wearing perfume on the right places like, on your wrist, neckline, behind your knees and other pressure points help make the little fragrance you splash to be more than enough. But avoid perfuming all your pulse points. Select just one or two.
Never rub perfume on your skin as this can damage the molecule structure of the perfume.
When you spray perfume, hold the bottle about a foot away for even distribution.
Oily skin retains fragrances longer than dry skin. Apply a non-fragrant lotion on dry skin before applying the perfume to prevent it from evaporating quickly. The more moisturized your skin is, the more it can hold the scents.
Allow your scent to develop with your own natural scent by leaving it on the skin for some time before you dress. This way the clothing cannot interfere with the process.
If you want your perfume to stand out, do not use scented body products like fragrant soaps, shampoos, shower gels, body lotions or deodorants. Such products which have strong fragrances shield the real aroma of your perfume.
Perfume your body from bottom up. This way the fragrance lasts longer.

I received five different lotions from Bath and Body Works for Christmas and went online to submit reviews for them. My FAVORITE of all of them is one called “Dark Kiss,” which I recently learned from their website is very popular.
So for fun, let me ask you two questions:
1. What is YOUR favorite Bath and Body Works fragrance (be it lotion, bubble bath, shower gel, Eau de Toilette, or body splash), and
2. Who can tell me FOR A FACT a certain product is their most popular? Also, tell me in which form the product is most popular (shower gel, lotion, etc.)
I ask this question because I heard that “Twilight Woods” is very, very popular and received 100% good feedback of recommending it to a friend.

1. I’m not really sure…it’s a tie between Sweet Pea, Forever Sunshine, and Winter Candy Apple
2. There isn’t a single product/scent that is most popular. But the popular ones are Japanese Cherry Blossom, Sweet Pea, Dark Kiss, Secret Wonderland, Warm Vanilla Sugar, and Twilight Woods. Usually the forms the scents are most popular in are the fragrance mists or body lotion.
