Hey I am a huge fan of IRIS, so far I believe 17 episodes have been shown in Korea. I don’t know if you speak korea or not, but If you need the episodes subbed, EPDRAMA has ep. 1-15 subbed already, which is 4 more episodes subbed than other websites. they usually have the episodes subbed by each Tuesday or wed. however there are on 20 eps. so it will be over soon. Is there an easy way to weed between close plants?
I planted an iris bed and some annuals. I planted each one about a foot apart. I keep getting 3 foot grass growing between everything. Very frustrating.
I know about the garden fabric and I used some already this year. The problem is that I have a very large back yard and it’s expensive to keep buying the fabric. The fabric is not really going to help me now anyway being the weeds are already grown. Is there an easy way to get in the tight places with out ripping out my plants? Been very hot and humid in the Northeast. My garden is looking very unkept in these dog days of summer.

I would water thoroughly the night before so that the ground wil be good and moist. Weeding by hand is the best method to getting the weeds under control. Besides if you kill them with roundup you’ll still have to go back and pull them out or your flowerbeds are just going to be filled with tall dead weeds which looks worse than weeds that are alive and thriving. Once the weeds are gone, I would mulch thoroughly as this will help prevent future weed growth as well as help trap moisture. And as someone else said, about once a week while watering I pick out any new weed growth I spot, only takes a few minutes a week to keep it under control and I have several large beds
