You may also use straight olive oil if the extra virgin variant is not available. However, it is recommendable to use extra virgin olive oil because, as explained earlier, it is derived from the first pressing of the olives. Since it is in its purest possible form, extra virgin olive oil has the most potency for curing all sorts of health problems.
This homemade concoction may be applied directly onto the skin as needed. To keep your skin well moisturized, apply all over the body when still wet from the shower then pat dry. This homemade oil remedy is gentle enough to be used even on the face. For those who shave their legs or underarms, use this concoction as an aftershave solution to keep your skin from excessive dryness, as well as get rid of itching normally associated with shaving.
