What should I do about a finger infection?
About 2 weeks ago, I cut myself on a diving board. I didn’t think anything of it, as it was just a scratch. However, now there is a small pusey area underneath the original scratch. It’s almost like the bacteria caused a small, tender pimple under the original scratch. Does it need a doctor, or should a batch of Neosporin and a band aid be all right? I didn’t cover it before.
Soak the finger In hot water with epsom salts that should pull the Infection. Keep It very clean and apply antibiotic ointment and a loose dressing.
Is Neosporin supposed to be runny?
When I had it as a kid, it was a lot thicker. I’ve bought the “original” kind just today and it seems really runny. Is it supposed to be?
