Thinking about bleach to get rid of poison ivy?
I have poison ivy all down my back, all down my stomach, and all down my legs and arms. I was in a hot tub last night with chlorine, thinking that’d help dry it up. Well, it still itches pretty bad, and I heard using bleach to scrub it will get rid of it? But I’m not sure. I’ve been putting aloe vera on it too. If I take a shower and put bleach on all of the ivy spots, should it help? It itches so bad and I have soft, very sensitive pale skin. Please give me advice?
When you have poision on over 1/2 of your body, you have to see your DR immediately. There’s a medication and also maybe a shot of decadron. It’s not just an allergy, this is poision. It has to be treated immediately by a DR. Don’t use the clorox anymore please .It’s a poision too. If you just had it on your arm or something sure that helps. but you’re in a position where 3/4 of your body is afflicted contact your Dr or ER immediately. Your skin is our largest organ and can make us very sick without the proper ttreatment.The things in your home , car, clothing , bed linens all have to be washed and dried to kill the poision ivy.It can remain on things and live for 1 year .example a sleeping bag ,yes even your couch has to be sprayed with lysol disenfectant.GO TO YOUR DR. PLEASE.before it spreads to your eyes.
how to get rid of poison ivy fast!!!?
yeah so i got it on my legs, arms & hands here & there & its driving me crazy! i cant help but to scratch it! i try my best not to but i do it in my sleep without realizing it until i wake up from scratchin too hard.
stuff doctors give me dont help so dont suggest them
i dont want to buy any products i have many & they only help the itching for a few hours & thats it

Try making a paste with corn starch and milk. Put it on the affected areas and go to bed. By the morning, it should be dried up and the irritation gone. It leaves a really big mess on the sheets and jammies, but it works. Hubby swears by it. He used to hunt and get poison ivy and that’s what he used for it.
