how often do you do that sea salt soak for your bellybutton piercing?

i usually do it 2 times a day for 10 minutes each. is that to much? What are other ways to clean the piercing ? i have the claires afterpiercing stuff but i thought that wasnt good for your bellybutton piercing

That’s fine, you can do that 2-3 times a day for 5-10 minutes and your piercing should be fine, but do NOT clean it more than three times a day because that’s over cleaning it and that will lead to an infection.

You could buy a saline solution, such as H2Ocean, at your local tattoo parlor, Wal Mart or Hot Topic and use that spray and the salt soak to help keep it clean. Salt soaks + saline solution spray have shown amazing healing results, and i highly recommend both.

Do NOT use anything from Claires to clean piercings– i’m fairly sure that that cleaner is only meant for ear piercings, not navel piercings. Do not use that, alcohol, peroxide, ointments or bactine.

where could i buy sea salt in houston?

Im trying to find a store in houston that sales sea salt. I need it to make a sea salt soak for my belly button piercing. The only place i know that sells it is bath and body works . is any one familiar with any other places? Speciafially in the Galleria area if possible?
