What is the difference between bar soap and shower gel?
I dont know.. i dont see what the big differnece is but from my experience shower gel you are like 100 percent positive that the person next to ya has not used it against there skin.. where as with a bar of soap you dont know. Thats why whenever im sleeping over at someones house or at a hotel i always bring shower gel with me instead of a bar of soap.. but at home everyone here we all use those shower scrubs and put the bar of soap on the shower soap and then we clean ourselves.. i mean i find it disgusting how some people use the bar of soap against there skin.. eww.. at least with the shower scrub you rince of the dirt when your done and your shower scrub is clean.. your suppose to change them like every 2 weeks anyways..
thats my take on the whole shower gel vs bar of soap thing.
I personally like the dover shower gel and the bar of soap it smells so good.. and the body shop sells nice soap gels and bar of soaps as well.
Soap bar over acne products?
For generations a top alternative to wash face is with a little bit of soap, it is easy, unexpensive and it works. I have used soap for my face as long as my body when i was a kid every time i showered. It worked normally and i had no acne, as i grew older my face started to break out so i decided to go to the local mall and buy some acne gel (clearasil,neutrogena,nivea) etc i tried it all. The funny thing is today my acne is so so bad im afraid to go out with my friends and family. Im very hygentic i shower twice a day, clean diet. The thing is my friends just use soap and there face is flawless, are these acne creams targeting people like me and using it for a long period of time and having no affect to helping my face at all?
think as to why there are hundreds of different acne products out there…Oh, if they worked there would only be like one
clearasil has like 40 different products alone all for removing acne…hmmm
