When my 3 year old takes a bath at night almost every time we get her out she starts screaming because her feet and palms of her hands hurt and are itchy. Sometimes if I let her play in the bath for awhile it will start before I even get her out of the tub. But it will stop within a few minutes of her getting out of the bath. She does have eczema, and I thought that was the problem. But I also noticed that the bottoms of her feet and the palms of her hands are red, and very warm to the touch when she is going through this. And after the itching has stopped her hands and feet are back to normal temperature. My son is the only other one that uses that bathroom and he hasn’t had a problem, he also has eczema. I do give her frequent oatmeal baths and use unscented soaps and Eucerin. I’m not sure what exactly it could be. Any info would be helpful, thanks.
